infant and kitty cat

Some years ago when I was in Nara, I heard some infant crying near the dormitory in some night. I was thinking who had a baby there. But the crying continued for some nights. In the daytime, when I looked at outside, I found nothing there. It scared me a lot. I talked to other students. They told me it was a kitty cat that was in mating season. Oh, my god!
Now I have a baby. She is less than 3 months old yet. Sometime she just makes funny sound. Sometime she says “Meow~~, Meow~~.” Exactly it sounds like a kitty cat.
That is funny, why a kitty cat and an infant could make same kind of sound?

Maa~~~~~~~

I delivered my baby in February. I was so curios to see what kind of action my baby would have in the first moment when she came to the world. I delivered my baby very quickly, so quickly that even I got shocked by myself. The nurse put the baby on my chest, because I was shocked and the first words I said was “Scary! Scary!!” There should be some sound from the baby, I did not remember. And then the baby was moved to get cleaned. I could see she was right there. Maybe the nurse put some drops into here mouth to clean the mucus, then I heard so clearly, “Maa~~~~~”. It was so real and I was moved.
